New Lilly!

I decided on some cool winter colors and pulled out all of my snowflake embellishments and decided on these.  Her skates have some silver Wink of Stella and so does her package ribbon.

I printed the image on Kraft card and coloured her with Polychromos pencils.  I layered her onto red card and patterned papers, and embellished with a baker's twine bow and some wooden snowflakes.

Did you know?
Before people began to develop artistic expression through skates, they used them as a practical form of transportation. Thousands of years ago, residents in Finland strapped animal bones to their feet to glide across frozen lakes rather than walk around them. Scientists believe they might have also used wooden poles to propel themselves forward. Metal blades didn’t arrive until the 13^th century.

Lilly Ice Skating in Purples

Hi Everyone

I am here to share with you a touch of inspiration using this months Newly Released Image Lilly Ice Skating 

 I have coloured this gorgeous girl using Copics and Diamond Sparkles Glitter.  I used a Spellbinders Decorative Oval Die to cut her out and distressed this with a Purple Memento Dew Drop Ink.  I cut a Memory Box Snowflake Border and a Tattered Lace Snowflake.  The Ice Skates I bought already cut as I never had a die for these.  The sentiment I hand typed on the laptop before I printed the image.  I popped on a Satin Bow and finished with Purple Pearl Gems.

 I hope you like what I did with her, she was an absolute joy to colour.

The Orient

Hello MoonFlower fans.  Rae Ann here with your dose of MoonFlower inspiration.  This time I went a little Oriental with my project.

This is Little Oriental Lady and she was colored with Copic markers.  I cut her out using the Silhouette Cameo.  She has silver Wink of Stella on her hair jewelry for a little added sparkle.  The paper was a freebie by Tracy Wray and was given to the members of the Art by Miran group.  Unfortunately the group is closed, but you can find Tracy Wray's digital papers at Whimsy Stamps.  I wanted a dimensional cherry blossom branch, so I took some paper raffia and twisted it tightly.  I created some branches with extra paper twist and then added some flowers.  I really like the way it turned out.

Today I'm going to share my  DT project using the beautiful Lilly the Dancing Princess.and as I'd done the one Kit & Clowder Create & Learn project I decided to do the other one this time with markers instead of pencils

I coloured her using Copics.  I used a curved edge die to create the swirly layer.  I added Lace Trim to this.  I popped on some Paper Flowers and finished with Clear Heart Gems.

La Bella Muerte

Andreia has done it again!  Look at this amazing image she has created! 

I love all of the gorgeous details of La Bella Muerte.  I colored her with Copic markers.  She has silver Wink of Stella on her crown and the gem on her forehead for a touch of sparkle.  I pulled my colors from the paper except for the red roses.  They just had to be red!  The skulls are so fabulously creepy too!

Spooktacular!

Hello!  Rae Ann here with your dose of inspiration for today using Gina Frankenstein Bride on a project.  I know not everyone celebrates Halloween, but I love it!  So I went with a Halloween theme for this project.

I colored Gina Frankenstein Bride with Copic markers and cut her out using my Silhouette Cameo.  I printed the sentiment.  I kept the design pretty simple because I loved this gorgeous damask paper and didn't want to cover it up.  You can find Gina Frankenstein Bride and a number of other Halloween themed images in the shop.  And what luck!  There is a sale currently underway!

Apple Queen

Today I'm going a bit fairytale ish.. You know I love a good fairy tale there's always a bit of evil but a lot of good. This lovely is Apple Queen . Just love her dress its so shaped like an apple.

Autumn Gypsy Flower

Hello MoonFlower fans!  Rae Ann here with your dose of inspiration today.  Here in the states we are moving into autumn and I love the cooler temperatures.  I also love autumn colors, but we don't get much of that in my part of the country.  So...my projects have to make up for it.

I used a rich autumn color palette to color Gypsy Rose.  I love this image and now I think I love it even more!  She was colored with Copic markers.  I just love how she looks in these colors!  If you would like all of the details, pop over to my blog.  I have them listed there.

Hello MoonFlower fans!  I have some inspiration for you today as well as some news so I hope you are ready!

This is Lilly the Dancing Princess and you can find her in the shop now.  I colored her with Copic markers and cut her out using the Silhouette Cameo.  She is such a gorgeous digi from her amazing eyes and flowing hair to her beautiful layered gown.  She was a challenge to color and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Hello MoonFlower fans!  I am a little late with my post!  So Sorry!  My inspiration project today uses Ashlee Faery Ball Dress.  I bought her before I joined the MoonFlower team, and I only just now have the confidence to color her up!  She is a gorgeous image!

I've coloured her with copics and added a pretty floral paper which I distressed together with a bit of embossing on the background card. I cut her out with a die cut from Tonic and added some flowers from my crafty stash.

Gigi Little Mermaid

Hi Moonflower friends

Its that mermaid time of year don't you think? Don't know why as I love mermaids at anytime but always seem to want to colour them in at this time, weird but hey thats me.
So for my DT inspiration for Moonflower Digi Stamps I've chosen to use Gigi Little Mermaid, just love those big eye and hair. Given her a bit of a Little mermaid hair colour to.

Beautiful Sunflower

It is my turn to provide a little inspiration using the gorgeous new release, Sunflower Maiden.  What a beautiful image!

I colored the image using Copic markers and cut her out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I went with softer colors, but she would make a gorgeous autumn card as well.  You can find Sunflower Maiden in the shop now.

I had so much fun creating this card with this gorgeous image. I wanted to do and easel card but also add a frame around her, hope it's ok :)  I couldn't resist adding sunflowers and ribbon die cuts too, Doesn't she look like she belongs in the 60's  :)
