Doing Voodoo

Hello everyone!  Rae Ann here and it is my turn to post a project to inspire you.  Today I have one of the newer stamps in the shop, Voodoo Priestess.

You can use this image for all kinds of things!  Halloween is of course top of the list, but how about a friend that is having difficulties.  You can use the sentiment, "Just stick to it!"  I colored her with Copic markers and used a couple of Silhouette cut files for the frame and the background.  I thought a red, black and charcoal color combo would work well for a Voodoo priestess.  The background was spritzed with a couple of different Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist sprays.  You can't really tell but it has a great shimmer to it.

You can find Voodoo Priestess in the shop along with the rest of Andreia's gorgeous images.  If you pop into the group on Facebook, you can find a code for 20% off your purchase this month.  While you are there, look at all of the wonderful projects and inspiration in the group.  You can also join the monthly challenge.

What's that you say?  You don't have a MoonFlower stamp to play with?!  Well that is an easy fix.  Just sign up for the newsletter and you will get a gorgeous freebie to play with.  This month you can get In the Meadows.  She is available until October 15th when the next newsletter goes out with a new freebie.  Just pop over to the website and enter your email address in the form at the bottom.  Make sure to confirm your subscription using the link sent to you in an email.  As soon as you do, you will receive a link to the freebie.  If you don't receive the email to confirm your subscription, be sure to check your junk folder.  If you still don't see it some email providers automatically delete junk emails, so you may need to change a setting. Here is a little preview of In the Meadow.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope to see some of your inspiration in the group.

Voodoo Priestess - DT Lynda's Inspiration

Hi folks! Just stopping by to share a creation I have made using the very wicked Voodoo Priestess.  Whilst she is great for those halloween cards I  couldn't resist adding a bit of humour to my creation and making a 'Congrats on your divorce' card!

I kept it clean and simple, creating the sentiment in Craft Artist and colouring with promarkers.

I hope this has inspired you to get creative. Don't forget to share any makes on our Facebook page as we love to see what you have been making with your MoonFlower images.

Happy crafting!

Halloween has arrived!

Hi there! This Andreia here, passing by to let you know some fresh news!

As you know, Halloween is already peaking down the road and of course I had to make a little pause on the Fairytales theme and went straight into making 3 creepy yet amazing Halloween digital stamps for you guys.  First of many I should add.  There's more coming your way, just wait for it!

I simply love Halloween and had to start on creating digital stamps inspired on that holiday.

We start first with a voodoo inspired theme. It was suggested on the MF group at facebook and I really liked the idea so Voodoo Priestess was born. She’s perfect not only for Halloween but for other situations.

And of course we couldn’t leave out the vampires out of this!  So I created a full scene digital stamp to make easier to use it even if you don’t have a background.
With that idea Under the Moonlight was created and she is stunning!

Last but not least we had to have a witch, something simple and easy to play with and you can use it not only for this holiday as well.

Also the freebie from this month has been sent!
This month  based on my group members suggestions, I created for you a Fairy Princess with her enchanted pet.  A great digital stamp that will fit several occasions.
Here's the gorgeous ‘In the Meadows’

And thats all for now. Stay well!!!! Andreia xxx

In My Thoughts

Hello!  Welcome back to the blog. =)  Today it is my turn to provide you with a little bit of inspiration.  I used Ashlee Butterfly Wings for my project today.

I don't often do clean and simple (CAS) cards.  In fact, I struggle to make them.  But this idea popped into my head so I decided to give it a try.  I created this card by using the stamp larger than normal, and then cropping a bit of it off and coloring it.  I printed a second one that was cropped less for the base of my card and left it black and white.  It is hard to see in the small photo, but if you click on it, you should be able to see there are two layers.  I embossed a frame around the border of the top panel using my scoreboard and then used craft foam to pop up the panel so it would be very stable.  A bit of ribbon and a sentiment finish off the card.  I am so pleased with the way it turned out!

If you love MoonFlower digital stamps as much as I do, you should definitely come join us in the MoonFlower group on Facebook.  Each month brings a new challenge for a chance to win MoonFlower digital stamps.  This month the theme is autumn colors.  You can also get a fan page freebie once you join the group.  Just check the files tab.  Andreia has been known to do a flash giveaway from time to time!  You won't want to miss it!

Speaking of freebies, you can get a new freebie each month just by signing up for the newsletter.  Pop over to the website and scroll to the bottom of the page.  Enter your email address.  You will receive an email with a link to confirm your subscription.  Once you confirm, you will receive a link to the current freebie.  You can still get Gypsy Flower for a short time, but Andreia has already given a sneak of the new freebie in the group.

I just know she is going to be gorgeous!!
