Hugs and Squeezes

Hello MoonFlower Friends.  I am back with a little inspiration for you today using Valentine Teddy.

Even though this was drawn as a Valentine's Day stamp, I thought this sweet girl and her teddy would be a great image to use for a card to cheer someone up.  I found this sentiment in the Silhouette store and knew it would work so well with this card.  This image is colored with Copic markers and matted with a Spellbinders die.  You can find all of the construction details on my blog.

If you haven't signed up for the newsletter, you need to!  Each month Andreia draws an exclusive newsletter freebie that is not available for purchase until the next newsletter goes out.  She always comes up with something gorgeous!  Pop over to the website and enter your email address in the field.  Once you confirm your email, you will be able to get the current month's freebie.

You can use your newsletter freebie to play along in the challenge in the group on Facebook.  Just ask to join the group!  We would love to have you and see all of your gorgeous MoonFlower projects.

Valentine Teddy by DT Shannon

Today I'm sharing with you the lovely "Valentine Teddy" . I decided to leave a sentiment off my card as it could be used for a few different occasions.

I hope my card has given you some inspiration to colour this lovely image yourself.

Valentine Teddy By Linda

Good morning to you all.  I am excited about being a new designer for MoonFlower digi stamps.  This is my first posting for them.

I colored this wonderful image with copics. However I didn't think to write down all the colors as I used them.  The only ones I always use are my skin colors.  Those are E000, E00, E11, E21, R04 and sometimes when I want lighter skin I use R02. and R 20 for her blush.   I used heart card stock (unfortunately you can't see it) White Glitter  paper and gems from Want to scrap. I made the small bow with my bow maker.

Have you subscribed to the newsletter?  You will want to do this as you get a freebie when you do.

We have a fan page on Facebook as well so hope you will all come down and join in on the fun.  Here is the address for that: https://www.facebook.com/groups/667191180046905/

Till next time Happy Crafting to you all.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello everyone and Happy Valentine's Day!  It is my turn to provide a little inspiration and I thought The Longing Princess would fit the bill for today.

The Longing Princess is part of the Fairy Tale line that Andreia drew and was based on the princess in the stories of Sinbad.  I colored her using Copic markers and cut her out using my Silhouette Cameo.  I was so excited to find a button in my stash with a ship on it!  So perfect for Sinbad's love!  You can find all of the details of the rest of the card on my blog.

Don't forget to join the MoonFlower Digital Stamps Facebook group.  There is always some wonderful inspiration and a monthly challenge to participate in.  You can use the monthly freebie to participate and you might win more images to add to your stash.  Just sign up for the monthly newsletter on the website and you will receive a link to the freebie as soon as you confirm your subscription.  Don't skip that step or you won't actually be signed up for the newsletter.

I hope to see your gorgeous project in the group soon!

MoonFlower Teddy Valentine's Card

Good morning and happy Monday to all of my crafty friends!

Today I am sharing a card I made using a MoonFlower image.

This sweet image is called Valentine Teddy.
I colored her with Copic markers.

After I colored her I was wondering what she would look like with bangs. I was afraid to add them to my original coloring because I wasn't sure I'd like it. So, I took a picture of my colored image, printed it and put bangs on the printed image. It turned out cute so, I added bangs to my coloring.

I am just starting to learn to add little details to the images I work with. It's funny how such a little detail can make an image look so different.

Copic markers used...
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Eyes: YG11, YG03, YG63
Blues: B0000, B000, B01
Pinks: RV00, R81, R83, R85
Flowers: Y0000, Y000, Y11

Thank you very much for stopping by to check out my MoonFlower Valentine!! Hope you have a fabulous week!

Heaven's Melody by DT Lynda

Good morning! Well, it's not such a good morning here in the UK as the weather is awful, but a little crafting can always brighten the dullest of days hopefully and today it's my turn to share a project with you.

I have worked with the stunning Heaven's Melody- such a beautiful image. I kept my card very simple, mat and layering on silver mirrorcard and centura pearl, with a die cut sympathy sentiment and dove embellishment.

If you like this then do check out the other images in the digi store as well- there are some amazing ones to chose from. Also, in case you are new to MoonFlower and don't know, we also have a Facebook Page where we run colouring competitions and where you are welcome to post and share your projects with MoonFlower images.

Oh, and if you haven't already - hit the subscribe by email button for a monthly freebie too!

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week!

Gigi Little Mermaid

Hello crafty friends! I am sharing a CUTE little mermaid today.

Her name is Gigi Little Mermaid and she is from MoonFlower Digistamps.

I colored Gigi Little Mermaid with Copic markers. I have to say that I am THRILLED with how her hair turned out. Coloring hair is the hardest part for me.

When I went to make the card I could not find one beach themed paper in my stash.
Of course it was late Sunday night and all of the stores were closed.
Instead of putting it off, I decided to look online for digi papers. THANKFULLY, I found some at Computer Scrapbook.com. The best part...it was FREE!! I downloaded Seashore to my computer, printed the paper and was on my way.

The seaweed, starfish and sand dollar were all cut out with my Cricut Explore.
It so awesome when I can combine my love for coloring and my love for my Cricut!

Here are the Copic combo's that I used...

 SKIN

HAIR

BUBBLES AND AREA AROUND THE IMAGE

EYES

 FIN, FLOWER AND SHELLS

Thank you very much for stopping by! I hope you all have a fabulous day!
