Spring Roses

Hello MoonFlower fans!  So happy you could join me for a little inspiration.  I have used Ashlee Rose for my project today.  I thought she would make a perfect spring card.

She was colored with Copic markers in a pretty sunny yellow.  I found some patterned paper left from another project that had beautiful roses that I thought made the perfect accent and were a pretty spring color.

I tried a few new things with this project.  I made the rolled roses by crocheting the strip that I rolled into the rose.  I think it gives a fun shabby chic look.  I also pulled a couple of the threads in the satin ribbon to cause it to gather.  Then I sealed the ends with a lighter and put it on my card.  I think it adds some great dimension.  You can find all of the other details about the supplies used on my blog.
