Ashlee Rose

Hello MoonFlower fans!  It is my turn to give you a little inspiration!  This time around, I chose Ashlee Rose for my inspiration project.  I believe she is the current newsletter freebie, so sign up on the website to receive the newsletter.  Once you confirm your subscription, you will receive Ashlee Rose as your gift. =)

I tried a few new things with this project.  I made the rolled roses by crocheting the strip that I rolled into the rose.  I think it gives a fun shabby chic look.  I also pulled a couple of the threads in the satin ribbon to cause it to gather.  Then I sealed the ends with a lighter and put it on my card.  I think it adds some great dimension.  You can find all of the other details about the supplies used on my blog.
