In My Thoughts

Hello!  Welcome back to the blog. =)  Today it is my turn to provide you with a little bit of inspiration.  I used Ashlee Butterfly Wings for my project today.

I don't often do clean and simple (CAS) cards.  In fact, I struggle to make them.  But this idea popped into my head so I decided to give it a try.  I created this card by using the stamp larger than normal, and then cropping a bit of it off and coloring it.  I printed a second one that was cropped less for the base of my card and left it black and white.  It is hard to see in the small photo, but if you click on it, you should be able to see there are two layers.  I embossed a frame around the border of the top panel using my scoreboard and then used craft foam to pop up the panel so it would be very stable.  A bit of ribbon and a sentiment finish off the card.  I am so pleased with the way it turned out!

If you love MoonFlower digital stamps as much as I do, you should definitely come join us in the MoonFlower group on Facebook.  Each month brings a new challenge for a chance to win MoonFlower digital stamps.  This month the theme is autumn colors.  You can also get a fan page freebie once you join the group.  Just check the files tab.  Andreia has been known to do a flash giveaway from time to time!  You won't want to miss it!

Speaking of freebies, you can get a new freebie each month just by signing up for the newsletter.  Pop over to the website and scroll to the bottom of the page.  Enter your email address.  You will receive an email with a link to confirm your subscription.  Once you confirm, you will receive a link to the current freebie.  You can still get Gypsy Flower for a short time, but Andreia has already given a sneak of the new freebie in the group.

I just know she is going to be gorgeous!!
