Let it Snow

Hello, MoonFlower fans!  It is my turn to bring you a little inspiration using Snowflake Fairy.  She is a gorgeous new digital stamp from Andreia.

I colored Snowflake Fairy using Copic markers.  Her dress ended up a bit darker than I intended, but in the end, I am still happy with how it turned out.  I used clear Wink of Stella on her wings, snowflakes, and dress trim, but it is so hard to capture in a picture.

The sentiment was created using the Silhouette software.  I am learning more and more about what I can do with it an it is very exciting!  The background was also a Silhouette cut.  If you want more information, you can pop over to my blog for all of the details.

Don't forget to subscribe to the emails if you haven't already.  You will receive a new freebie each month before the image is available in the store.  Plus you will receive a coupon code for the shop.  Just pop over to the website and enter your email in the form at the bottom of the page.  Once you confirm your email, you will receive the current freebie.

We have a Facebook group where you can show off your MoonFlower Digital Stamps projects and participate in our challenge.  If you are on Facebook, we would love to see you there!

Snowflake Fairy- DT Lynda's Inspiration

Wow, can you believe this time next week the Christmas festivities will be coming to a close and we will be looking to a new year?! This year seems to have flown so fast! It feels far too mild to be winter here in the UK, but with the gorgeous Snowflake Fairy I could almost believe she could conjure me up a white Christmas.

I coloured her in copics, and added some sliver stickles wherever I could to really make her sparkle! The background was created using a tree scene mask, gently brushed over with tumbled glass distress ink.

I mounted her on a stepper card and embellished with a snowflake border over pretty papers.

I am constantly in awe of Andreia's ability to create the most stunning digi stamps. She has an amazing talent and her images are so unique. There are some gorgeous ones to choose from in the digi shop so do take a look. We would love to see your creations and you are very welcome to share them over on our Facebook Page. There is a competition running there at the moment with the theme 'Frozen Christmas' so join in if you can!

I'll take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy Christmas and New Year. I hope it is filled with special memory making for you all ( and some new crafty goodies if Santa is kind!)

Have fun!

Lynda
