Thinking of You By the Lake

Hello everyone!  My turn to provide a little inspiration with the new MoonFlower release, By the Lake.  So much gorgeous hair and beautiful folds to color on this one!

This card originally started out in my head as a white, one layer card.  I just couldn't wrap my head around all of that white space, so I cut her out...by hand...and put her on blue card stock that had been embossed with clouds.  That was much easier for my brain to accept and I went on from there!  She was colored with Copic markers and the sentiment came from the Silhouette store.  If you want all of the details of the materials used, pop over to my blog.  I have listed it all there.

I love working with Moonflower's images, they are just so gorgeous, especially surrounded with dies by Memory Box and Spellbinders. I colored her with copic markers and used patterned papers by Kaisercraft.

Lady of the Woods

Hello everyone!  It is my turn to provide a little bit of MoonFlower inspiration for you today.  I was looking for an image that could be a great fall image, because it is definitely on the way.  Even here in the south, the humidity is not quite as bad and the temperatures are a little lower.  I won't get to see fall colors, but I have my card stock and markers to help with that!

I chose to use Anthera, Lady of the Woods to inspire you.  Isn't she an amazing image?!  I colored her with Copic markers.  The wood buttons were a very light color, so I used a matching Copic marker to color them and tone them down a bit.

Anthera The Lady in the Woods

Good Morning to you all!!  Well it maybe night for some LOL  but that is ok I am here to give you a bit of inspiration for your card making. 

 This beautiful lady is called Anthera and the image is under Lady of the Woods here in the shop. I hope you will go check out the images that are for sale there.  There are lots and lots of beautiful images to choose from.  This one had me awake last nite trying to figure out what I wanted to do with it, but after several ideas floating around I used this one.

Contemplation Princess

Happy Monday everyone! Today I an showcasing the beautiful Contemplation Princess image.

When I finally decided what copic marker colors to use on her, she was a dream to color. For her dress I only used one marker E04 along with the Colorless Blender and was amazed at how wonderful it came out. I may use this technique more ;)  I then surrounded her with dies by Memory Box, Spellbinders and Die-namics. The patterned papers are from Kaisercraft.

Gina Vampire

Okies, who likes a good vampire movie?
I have to say that I really don't like horror films but I am a bit partial to a vampire movie, haven't seen it for ages but love Interview with a Vampire. Mr Cruise and Mr Pitt make pretty yummy vamps in my book!!!
So being in a vamp mood and heading towards that spooky time of year I've chosen Gina Vampire for my DT choice project this month. She's a bit of a babe.
